Linny is a caring physician who prides herself on great communication with patients and their families, as well as with her medical, nursing and allied health colleagues. She provides quality, patient-centred and timely care to diagnose and manage infections in children.

Linny completed her postgraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne, after graduating and working as a qualified Pharmacist. Since graduating from medical school, she has also completed a Diploma in Child Health (University of Sydney) and Master of Public Health (University of Melbourne). She completed subspecialty training in Paediatric Infectious Diseases and holds a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She is currently enrolled in a PhD (University of Melbourne, Department of Paediatrics) to further understand risk factors for invasive pneumococcal disease in children. She is also involved in research in other children’s infections and vaccine safety, her publications are listed here.
Linny holds current professional memberships with the Australasian Society of Infectious Diseases (ASID), European Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) and Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS). She is an active committee member of both Australia & New Zealand Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ANZPID) and World Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (WSPID).
Other professional roles include her involvement as a guest expert for infections on the Safer Care Victoria with the Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity. Outside of Medicine, Linny is the Founder and Board Director (Chair) of an award winning health promotion charity, The Water Well Project which provides free, culturally sensitive health education to communities from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds.
